GCSE: Film Trailers - 2009 candidates

This section will expand later in the year to provide more detailed information about this area of study. In the meantime, here is a reminder to current Year 11 students on what they have to prepare for this coursework module.
 

Essay

How are trailers for Bollywood-style films structured to engage and keep the interest of different audiences? (800 words)

You will need to include:

  • Purpose of the film trailer
  • Techniques used in the Film Trailer
  • The way the trailers studied use Media Language
  • The way the trailers establish Genre and Audience
  • Close reference to and comparison between the trailers you studied in class: Devdas and Bride and Prejudice.
